Raising a Wild Child (RAWC) is a safe and supportive space to the wild children and those raising them!
We offer therapeutic, child-centered strategies aimed at promoting positive mental health, improving family relationships, and reducing violence in both home and school settings.
Our focus is to support families and children in developing emotional regulation skills and enhancing mental well-being in order to increase enjoyment and engagement to educational success and personal growth.

You can expect dedicated support that goes beyond ineffective or unhelpful interventions, providing a strong foundation for families to thrive and overcome challenges.
We exist to champion the unique spirits of the children who defy conventional moulds, the wave-makers, the innovators. Our purpose is rooted in supporting those who may struggle to conform, even when they really really want to. These are the individuals who resist the pressures of societal expectations, finding themselves labeled in various ways by professionals and society at large.

Our mission to increase enjoyment, success, personal growth and engagement with education.

We extend our support to you — the parents, the grandparents, the friends, the teachers, and all caregivers. This is a space where you are acknowledged and embraced, especially if you have felt the weight of societal expectations press upon you unfairly.
We understand the challenges and judgments you face, from being told you are not trying hard enough to being criticised for your caregiving approach. With RaWC, you can expect dedicated support that provides a strong foundation for families to thrive and overcome challenges.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
“The support our RAWC Associate offers is invaluable. The WhatsApp support in-between weekly sessions is so reassuring - even if we don't need to use it just knowing it's there offers peace of mind that help and support is available if we need it. I have never heard of any other service offering this.”
“Thank you for the training this morning, I have learned more from you than any other book or training session in the last 8 years. Not only for my future patients, but also for me and my family!”
With her immense knowledge and experience, Suzan gives personal insight into neurodivergence and alchemises this into a compassionate and teachable philosophy with heaps of actionable strategies. It’s transformed our facilitators’ approach to groups with a huge positive impact on our girls.
Things are really really good. Like we’ve turned a significant corner. She is back in school and it’s going well. Thank you for everything. There are a million other smaller wins, too many to mention but I wouldn’t be where we are today without you xxx
